Denise Pond has worked with young adults since qualifying as a secondary school teacher specialising in English. Since the mid-nineties she has specialised in working with recent New Zealand arrivals and those who do not have English as their first language. In this work and in an earlier role as Dean at senior level she developed an interest and skills in helping young people establish their career goals.

In 2007 she gained accreditation as a Belbin team Roles facilitator. on your mark is a progression in this area - providing her with recognised assessment tools to complement her professional knowledge and skills.
